How I Work

I see myself as a bridge between ancient, tried-and-tested shamanic techniques and the modern professional who is responsibility rich and time poor. Clients come to me with a range of challenges from chronic health issues and burnout, to work disappointments and financial frustrations, and, of course, relationship / family issues. I tailor the combination of tools that I teach to suit their unique personality and needs, creating a bespoke experience with the aim of enhancing health and satisfaction in every area of life and fostering sustained inner peace.

My work is not a palliative that makes you feel good for half an hour. I work with you to enhance your handling of the challenges you face, to define your goals in both the short and long term – whether they’re financial, health-oriented, or wanting more harmonious family relations – and to achieve them. My work produces tangible results quickly, and is not predicated on creating dependency, with clients needing to return again and again over a long period of time. Rather I teach reproducible techniques for clients to employ in daily life when required. This empowering approach is especially suited to hardworking professionals wanting to take responsibility for ensuring their lives are healthy, successful and, above all, fulfilling.

Here’s a selection of the techniques I use:

Quantum collapsing

The Buddha said: ‘What we are today comes from our thoughts of yesterday, and our present thoughts build our life of tomorrow: our life is the creation of our mind.’

All spiritual traditions agree that our thoughts about ourselves and our life experiences, create our reality – in terms of how we feel and, therefore, how we perform. Quantum collapsing is the most powerful and accessible methodology I have found that enables us to authentically and swiftly change our thoughts. It rapidly dissolves the emotions behind what we label ‘stress’ and dramatically improves how we feel, increasing our self-belief and confidence, and therefore, our ability to perform in any area of life, professional or personal.

This methodology can be used to address challenges in any area of life – personal or professional, and commonly there is congruency between the two. The process involves rapidly answering predetermined questions to powerfully shift our thinking. The results are: increased self-confidence, mental and emotional stability, clarity of judgement and enhanced performance in all areas of life.

Creative Visualization / Extended Meditation

We are all aware of the health benefits of meditation – a stress-buster than lowers blood pressure and reduces anxiety. However people struggle and quickly become dis-enchanted because, with only the breath to focus on, the mind wanders and we feel bored. Creative visualisation gives the mind something fun to do, making this form of meditation enjoyable and accessible for everyone. Additionally visualisation helps clients problem-solve by providing powerful intuitive insights into career challenges or relationship difficulties. Our gut reaction to circumstances is never wrong, but it’s often drowned out by brain noise. Creative visualisation overcomes this mental chatter to give us clarity in our thinking, effectiveness in handling challenges and increased self-confidence.

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” ~ Steve Jobs

Crystal / Energy work

Using my hands and crystals I work on the body’s energy meridians to enhance the flow of ch’i (energy). This is acupuncture without the needles, and leaves clients feeling calm, centred and energized.

Chakra Work

There are seven energy centres in the body, each associated with the health of different organs and different aspects of life. So for example, the fifth chakra is located in the throat. It is associated with the health of the throat, the tonsils, the thyroid gland and the power of expression and communication. Using bespoke visualisation, I teach clients how to harmonise and re-empower these energy centres.

Sound Ceremonies

If we accept Einstein’s tenet that, ‘Everything is energy, that’s all there is to it‘ we believe that light waves are the building blocks of life. When a sound wave hits a light wave, both are transformed. We have all experienced the power of music to uplift or relax, to pump up and energise, or ground and calm. All shamans have a particular speciality, and mine is creating music through singing, rattling and whistling. Sound is the most powerful tool I have come across to enable us to connect with the emotions we hold, and to release them.
